Rubric:

Creativity - 25

How does your idea utilize the technical skillsets to create something greater than the sum of its parts? Because I created something I saw an opportunity just to make something so simple into something I made that I learned in class.

Is your project 'believable' as a concept? Yes it is. Its like an example of a car backing up, when you get to close your car starts beeping to let you know that you're close. And I used the cup to magnify the sound to make it louder then it needs to be.

Do you add your own creative flavor to the results? I did, I wanted to you lights and I wanted it to synchronize to identify and measure if you're far or close. And I added sounds and the further you go the loser it is.

Function - 25

Does your midterm project 'function' as expected? Yes it does.

Do you use both inputs and outputs in your design?

Is it easy to 'use' your project? Yes it is, your have to let the project in it self tell you how close and far you are and give it a second to process the lights to let you know.

Presentation - 25

Was your project explained clearly during your class presentation?

Have you comprehensive write up posted to your blog, including pictures of your project, the wiring, and the code, before October 10th? You move the project back but I took a picture of me testing it but now in the video you can see I made great progress

Experimentation - 15

Did you attempt to go beyond what we went over together in class? To be honest I didn't, In class I was having a lot of difficulties figuring out the wiring and the right codes to place into other codes. So this project in it self taught me beyond my comfort zone and now I feel like I truly strengthened my knowledge.

If some parts of your project don't work as expected, how do you address this in your final design (and document the issues)? I would say that every piece of technology is different and just because the one time one light didn't go on, you still created something that you never knew you could do and it could be easily fixed.

Effort - 10

Project presented on time and effort demonstrated: Hopefully you can tell how hard I worked and she how much I improved.
